Triton Digital Announces Australian Podcast Ranker Data for October 2025

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – November 18, 2025 Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the October 2025 Australian Podcast Ranker, providing insights from October 1 – October 31, 2025, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

 

The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 300 Australian-Made Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

 

In October, the Top International Podcast Ranker saw the same consecutive top three, with “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) ranked #1, followed by “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #2, and “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #3.

 

The Top 300 Australian-made Ranker also followed the same lineup once again, with “Hamish & Andy” (LiSTNR (SCA)) at #1, “ABC News Top Stories” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) at #2, and “Mamamia Out Loud” (Mamamia) at #3.

 

Through Triton’s Demos+ tool which leverages opt-in, download-based behavior data, Triton found that the top categories for listeners in October were once again News at #1, Society & Culture at #2, and Sports at #3.

 

International-only debuts for October included “Who Killed Emma?” (BBC), “Hell in Heaven: A Mysterious Death in Paradise” (ARN/iHeart), “The Contrarians with Adam and Adir” (Nine Audio), and more.

 

Debuts of Australian-made shows included “SBS Filipino” (Special Broadcasting Service), “This Is Why We Fight” (Mamamia), “Real Crime with Adam Shand” (Podshape), and more.

 

Shows that debuted across both international and Australian-made included “Diagnosing Murder” (Nine Publishing) and “ASSASSINS with Aslan Pahari” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation).

 

Participating publishers in the Australian Ranker include Adore Beauty, All Ears English, Audioboom, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ARN/iHeart, BBC Studios, Bravecasting, Clubby Sports, DM Podcasts, Equity Mates Media, HODD Media, Johns Media, LiSTNR (SCA), Mamamia, Motorsport Podcast Network, New York Times, News Corp Australia, New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME), Nine, NOVA Entertainment, Podshape, Schwartz Media, Shameless Media, Special Broadcasting Service, Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Sport Social Podcast Network, Squiz Media, The Australia Institute, The Bye Round, The Guardian, We Don’t Have Time For This, West Australian Newspapers, and Wondery.
